TERMS & CONDITIONS & PRIVACY POLICY

Welcome to Curobo (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By accessing our website, contacting us, booking an appointment, or using any Curobo service, you (“Customer”, “User”, “You”) agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy set out below.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

SECTION A — TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Services Offered

Curobo provides at-home pet grooming services performed at the customer’s residence by trained and authorised groomers. All services follow safety, hygiene, and handling standards aligned with industry best practices.

2. Booking, Confirmation & Communication

  • Bookings may be requested via the Curobo website or WhatsApp.

  • An appointment is considered confirmed only after official confirmation is sent by Curobo via WhatsApp.

  • Customers must provide accurate and complete details regarding their pet, including:

    • Breed, age, size, and coat condition

    • Temperament and behaviour

    • Medical history, allergies, or sensitivities

  • Incorrect, incomplete, or withheld information may result in revised pricing, service delays, or cancellation.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing depends on factors such as breed, size, coat condition, behaviour, distance, and add-on services.

  • Final pricing will be communicated prior to appointment confirmation.

  • Payment must be made immediately after service completion via UPI, bank transfer, or other approved methods.

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Severe matting or shave-downs

    • Tick and flea treatment

    • Aggressive or anxious pets

    • Extra-large breeds

    • Delays caused by customer unpreparedness

  • All payments are non-refundable, except at Curobo’s sole discretion.

4. Grooming Equipment Policy

  • All groomers are provided with Curobo-owned grooming kits, valued between ₹25,000 – ₹30,000.

  • All tools remain the exclusive property of Curobo.

  • Customers may not request groomers to:

    • Use personal or third-party tools

    • Use non-approved products

    • Deviate from Curobo grooming protocols

5. Space & Access Requirements

Customers must ensure:

  • A clean, safe, well-lit, and ventilated grooming area

  • Access to electricity and clean water

  • A calm environment free from disturbances or unsafe conditions

Failure to provide suitable conditions may result in cancellation with applicable visit charges.

6. Pet Health, Behaviour & Safety

  • Customers must disclose all relevant medical or behavioural information before grooming.

  • Curobo is not responsible for issues arising from:

    • Pre-existing or undisclosed health conditions

    • Sudden movements or stress responses

    • Anxiety or aggression during grooming

    • Severe matting requiring close clipping or shave-downs

  • Groomers may pause or terminate a session if safety risks arise.

  • Curobo reserves the right to refuse service where safety is compromised.

7. Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curobo shall not be liable for:

  • Injury, illness, stress reactions, or behavioural changes during or after grooming

  • Skin irritation or allergic reactions due to pre-existing conditions

  • Property damage caused by the pet

  • Delays or disruptions caused by third-party or external factors

Curobo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may attract cancellation charges.

  • If the groomer arrives and the customer is unavailable, the appointment may be marked as a no-show.

  • Curobo may reschedule appointments due to emergencies, weather conditions, or operational constraints.

9. Groomer Conduct & Ethics

  • Groomers are strictly prohibited from:

    • Accepting private bookings

    • Receiving direct payments or unauthorised tips

    • Offering off-record services

  • Any attempt to bypass Curobo systems may result in termination and legal action.

  • Customers are encouraged to report such behaviour immediately.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, text, images, videos, branding, and digital assets are the exclusive property of Curobo.
Unauthorised use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

11. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

Curobo reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services in cases involving:

  • Unsafe environments

  • Aggressive pets

  • Customer misconduct

  • Unreasonable demands

  • Violation of these Terms

12. Amendments to Terms

Curobo may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Force Majeure

Curobo shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Epidemics or pandemics

  • Government orders or lockdowns

  • Transport disruptions, strikes, or power failures

  • Technical or system outages

In such cases, Curobo may reschedule, suspend, or cancel services without liability.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

15. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or Curobo services shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.

If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended.

  • Arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by Curobo

  • Seat and venue: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

  • Language: English

  • The arbitral award shall be final and binding

Curobo may seek interim or injunctive relief from courts in Mumbai where necessary.

SECTION B — PRIVACY POLICY

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

  • Residential address

  • Pet details

  • Payment information

  • WhatsApp and service communication records

Technical Information

  • Device and browser data

  • IP address

  • Website analytics

  • Cookies and tracking technologies

2. Purpose of Data Collection

Curobo uses data to:

  • Process bookings and deliver services

  • Provide customer support

  • Maintain service records

  • Improve user experience

  • Send reminders, updates, and offers (opt-out available)

  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Data is processed under:

  • Contractual necessity

  • Legitimate business interest

  • User consent

  • Legal obligations

4. Data Sharing

Data may be shared with:

  • Authorised Curobo groomers

  • Payment service providers

  • Technology and hosting partners

  • Legal authorities when required

Curobo does not sell or rent personal data.

5. Data Retention

Data is retained:

  • For active service usage

  • As required by law

  • For business records (up to 7 years)

Thereafter, data is securely deleted.

6. Data Security

Curobo implements:

  • Encrypted storage

  • Restricted access controls

  • Periodic audits

  • Compliance with the IT Act, 2000 and SPDI Rules

No system is entirely secure; use of services is at your own risk.

7. User Rights

Users may request:

  • Access or correction of data

  • Deletion (subject to legal obligations)

  • Withdrawal of consent

  • Restriction of processing

  • Opt-out from marketing

Requests can be made via WhatsApp or email.

8. Cookies

Cookies are used for analytics, performance, and improved experience.
Users may disable cookies through browser settings.

9. Media Usage

With explicit consent, Curobo may use pet photos or videos for marketing, training, or promotional purposes. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

10. Children’s Privacy

Curobo services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
